On June 2, SOMA Collective for Palestine and SOMA for Palestine hosted the Palestine Way Food Tour — a walking food tour of “Little Palestine” in Paterson, NJ. Guests enjoyed Palestinian and Levantine cuisine and learned about the history and culture of Palestine. Our second food tour was held on September 15, 2024. Over the summer of 2024, during a weekly “Ceasefire Sunday” rally in South Orange/Maplewood, NJ, SOMA Collective for Palestine hosted a “dabke” lesson under the suburban sun. Learn about this special cultural dance here. Joy is resistance. On Valley Street we get lots of honks of support for our demands of an end to this genocide and a free Palestine.
